Sunday, February 13 - 8.30am-12noon, Memorial Park, Memorial Drive. The Port Pirie Producers Market gives foodies the chance to buy from regional growers and producers. A variety of food and craft stalls will be available. Runs second Sunday of the month.
Join the teams and spectators at Leonard Park in the morning and afternoon on Saturday for softball action.
Naomi Hobson art exhibition
Until February 27 - Artist Naomi Hobson's work with be showing at the Port Pirie Regional Art Gallery. Adolescent Wonderland presents evocative photographic portraits of young Aboriginal people from her community of Coen on the Cape York Peninsula.
On the pitch
Cricket will be played in Port Pirie at the weekend with The Recorder's scribe Marc Congdon reporting on all the action on the pitch.

Make the round-trip
Motorcyclists and motorists can take the round-trip from Port Pirie to Laura to Stone Hut to Wirrabara and through the Port Germein Gorge and back to Port Pirie. You can stop along the way for a pie or pastie at one of the bakeries on the route.

Take a stroll along Solomontown Beach at the weekend to enjoy the sights and calming influence of the waves. Why not buy a soft-serve icecream or some donuts from Henley's van?

Saturday, April 9 - 7:30 pm, Keith Michell Theatre at Northern Festival Centre. The 60 Four present the biggest hits of the '60s with a contemporary sound and stunning showmanship that have made them a Fringe favourite.

Try not to scream
Northern Festival Centre is screening the latest installment of Scream. Call the babysitter or go with your partner, just do not bring the kids. "Screaming" (screening) on Thursday, February 3 at 7pm and Saturday, February 5 at 8pm.
