Kids excited to race ducks

Kids and adults around the region are excited to set to sail their rubber ducks Pt Broughton Sailing & Boat Club Inc Annual Rubber Duck Race Fundraiser.

The family fun event will be held on Sunday October 3 at the northern end of the Port Broughton Foreshore from 11am.

All the little plastic ducks are excited, ready to be launched in the Bay and time and the beginning of the race will depend on weather and tidal conditions.

There is also free games for kids and adults on the foreshore before the race which will include the duck and spoon race and the duck in a bucket race.

Racing ducks can be purchases from Carpet Court in Port Pirie and Kadina for $3 and in Port Broughton at the Beachfront Takeaway, IGA, Central Deli, Seahaze Nursery, Pelican Cafe and Tourist Park.
