Recorder columnist Des "Nosey" Parker would like to see past and present winners of Citizen of the Year to be cemented in greatness along our footpaths.

"Call it the Avenue of Honour and have a small photo of the person embedded into the footpath with a description saying their name and their service to the community," he said.

Mayor Leon Stephens said "we are looking at at the former Prests building with Business Port Pirie to introduce a Hall of Fame."
