Four punk bands will "tear the house down" at a concert in Port Pirie next week.

Port Pirie's Collateral Damage and other bands Muckspout, Modern Day Riot and The Scabs will perform at the Port Pirie Amateur Anglers Club on Friday, December 13.

Billed as a Friday the 13th Spectacular, the show is a dream come true for club secretary Clint Broughton and Dan Pearce.

The pair are partners in False Flag Promotions and enjoy promoting live bands.

Mr Broughton said he knew what it was like to be in a band looking for recognition in Port Pirie and he reckons "any publicity is good publicity".

Dylan Harris, singer-guitarist with Collateral Damage, said it was the band's idea to stage the event and they believed in live music.

"We have played there before a couple of times and there has always been a pretty good turnout," he said.

"There are not enough venues for live bands here."

The band's songs include Nazi Zombies From Outer Space and Monster House.
