Cottell Street will be home to all things spine-tingling in an elaborate display for Halloween.
From a zombie feast to a chop shop, Jess Meschiati will have it all in her huge set-up at home on Thursday, October 31.
It will be the second time she has hosted a display and was inspired by the efforts the Caputo family went to before they finished holding their elaborate Halloween set-up.
Jess, who works with children, enjoys seeing the fun kids have when they visit her display.
"The kids love dressing up," she said.
"I had all good feedback last year."
In her display this year, she will have a creepy doll nursery, zombie feast, graveyard, chop shop, science lab and other items on show.
A 'body' in the bath will be in front of the home.
Jess said she loved visiting the Caputo family's display, her encouragement for a Halloween set-up.
"Once the Caputos started, Halloween started to get bigger in Port Pirie," she said.
"It gives the kids somewhere to go."
While she said it took a lot of effort to set-up, it was all worthwhile with the fun kids have.
"A few get scared," she said.
Last year, Jess raised money to support little Baylee Davies to have life-saving glucose monitoring equipment.
This year, she hopes to raise money to expand on her display and hopes to support more charitable causes in the future.
Jess will be holding her Halloween display at home at 25 Cottell Street from 5.30pm on 9pm on Thursday, October 31.
