Two men were arrested after they crashed a stolen Holden Astra at Risdon Park in the early hours of Saturday, August 10.
Police allege that they were called to an area on Dunn Street shortly after 1.30 am, following reports a car had crashed into a light pole and rolled over.
The 19 and 18-year-old, both from Port Pirie were located nearby.
Both men have been charged with illegal use of a motor vehicle and the 18-year-old man was also charged with driving without due care and driving with an expired licence.
The driver also test positive to cannabis and returned a positive breath test reading of 0.052.
They were both bailed to appear in the Port Pirie Magistrates Court on October 21.
In other police news, two drivers were caught drug driving by Port Pirie patrols on Tuesday night, as police continue to target driving under Operation High Impact F5.
