James Blundell

One of Australia's best country music performers, Blundell was named Best New Talent at the 1987 Country Music Awards of Australia. Since then, he has won dozens of awards and released many albums. He was inducted into the Australian Country Music Hall of Fame. See Blundell perform on Sunday.

John O'Dea

A retired farmer based in Orroroo, O'Dea released his first album in 2004 and since then has a further six albums. A natural performer, he has performed all over Australia and has received the Frank Harding Award of Excellence at Barmera Country Music Festival twice. His third album, Storyteller, gained him a finals nomination in Heritage Song of the Year in the 2010 Southern Stars Australian Independent Artists Awards for one song, 'Where The Outback Starts'.

Ella Hebberman

Has gone from previous Talent Quest winner to an artist in her own right. Hebberman, a local from Jamestown, has a beautiful voice and is sure to delight when she takes the stage on Saturday afternoon and again on Sunday morning.

Isabella Allen

You won't find talent at this year's festival as local as young Allen who calls Laura home. Similar to Hebberman, she is a previous Talent Quest winner and the festival's organising committee is proud to see her talents on show as a performer at this year's event.

Get Up And Dance With Dave And Rocky

A fantastic night will be on offer on the Saturday when this act takes the stage following the roast dinner and presentation of awards.

Talent Quest

See our young stars put their talents on show. Who knows who might become the next country music star of tomorrow. Registrations are from 8.30am to 9.10am with the quest itself starting at 9.30am.

Other events

After the talent quest wraps up, a walk-up event is held early Saturday afternoon. An old-style country music show will follow and is the perfect way to enjoy a Saturday afternoon. Hebberman performs here as well as Bill Bedford and Mary, and Earnest Schultz. Hit the Civic Centre floor later on the Saturday afternoon for the line dancing demonstration from 5pm. A delicious roast dinner is served from 6pm before Saturday night's great line-up.

Sunday starts with the Hour of Gospel, kicking off with Bill Bedford and Mary, then Earnest Schultz and Hebberman rounding out the hour. Trevor Philbey then takes to the stage before the star act, James Blundell, gets ready to wow festival-goers. John O'Dea takes to the stage early in the afternoon before Blundell does his final performance from 1.15pm. Everything wraps up at 4pm.
