A Port Pirie woman has been clocked at 50 km/h over the speed limit at Lochiel on Saturday, June 15.
At around 8pm, a Yorke Mid North highway patrol officer was conducting speed detection duties in a 110 km/h zone on the Augusta Highway at Lochiel when he detected a Holden sedan travelling at 160 km/h.
The 28-year-old driver was issued with an expiation notice for speeding and given a six month instant loss of licence.
Man charged over fast food outlet graffiti
A man was arrested in Port Pirie on Thursday, June 13 for marking graffiti at a fast food restaurant.
Police were called to the restaurant just before 7pm, after staff observed the man graffitiing one of the dining room tables.
Police attended and reviewed CCTV footage of the incident and allegedly identified the suspect from the vision.
The 24-year-old Port Pirie man was subsequently arrested and charged with marking graffiti.
He was bailed to appear in the Port Pirie Magistrates Court on August 5.
