UPDATES: Independent Frome MP Geoff Brock has launched an updated website that will keep residents up to date with local happenings.

A new website developed for Independent Frome MP Geoff Brock promises to be a "people's portal".

His updated website is being promoted as a community resource.

Mr Brock said the website would become a "go to" service for people to find local information at their fingertips.

"It is the best place to find out what is happening locally with a resource link to community and government organisations," he said.

"It is simple to use - even those who struggle with computers will find it easy to navigate.

"I am excited to be able to bring this new service to the people."

The site keeps residents up to date with times, dates and venues of Mr Brock's popular Listening Posts which are opportunities for residents to make appointments with him.

The news and events calendar on the home page provides a platform for communities and organisations to promote events.

"It is fully interactive and is a comprehensive resource tool for the community. Best of all, it is available round-the-clock," Mr Brock said.

"With more and more people using the internet to seek information it became vitally important that current events within the region, parliamentary speeches and my actions on behalf of the electorate be accessible.

"We are now able to offer links to news and events, a growing service directory and much more."

The website: geoffbrock.com.au can be viewed on all devices including desktop computers and laptops and is optimised for mobile phones.
