As most sporting associations know our volunteers are priceless, and the amount of blood, sweat and tears they put into getting seasons up and running is phenomenal.
Many of our volunteers are not only parents and grandparents, but also work full and part time, have children to run to sports, school and work, some even being involved with not only our association but their own specific club.
Our very own PPNA committee were asked by Uniting Care Wesley to record our hours for the month of April, as Uniting Care are recording the hours that volunteers put in over many organisations for National Volunteer Week which runs from May 20 to 26.
Our amazing committee of women have clocked over 380 hours total for just our "quiet" month of April.
This just shows the amazing amount of work these ladies do.
And every organisation that uses volunteers should be educating their respective community about these hours, on top of having a life also, we need to celebrate our volunteers as much as possible.
So a big thankyou to all our PPNA committee for the hours of work you have put in not just in April but 12 months a year (most seasons).
Your work does not go unnoticed.
