A strong crowd, estimated to be at least a thousand, turned out to help the Port Pirie Producers Market mark its 10th anniversary with great fanfare on Sunday.
Sixty-six stalls filled Memorial Park and an array of activities were organised to mark the special milestone.
Mayor Leon Stephens officially opened the celebrations in the Memorial Park rotunda and birthday cake followed.
The organisation's president, Sandra Chappell, said they were very pleased with the response to the event and the community's support.
Following the event, the group has received plenty of feedback on the celebrations.
"It's all been positive," Mrs Chappell said.
The market has grown from its inception, starting with 12 stalls and now averaging 35 at its regular monthly event at Flinders View Park.
Mrs Chappell, who leads the committee of eight, said the weather had been very kind on the day. She said kids' activities were a highlight of the commemorative market and that the cooking demonstrations were well received by the public.
