A 38-year-old man from Risdon Park has been arrested after he attempted to avoid an Random Breath Testing (RBT) station in Port Pirie on Thursday.
Just before 6pm on Thursday March 7, police were conducting a driver testing station on Three Chain Road, when they spotted a Toyota utility complete a u-tun, in an attempt to avoid the station.
Police patrols attempted to stop the car, however the driver refused to pull over and took off at speed through the backstreets of Solomontown.
Patrols searched the area and located the car parked in a driveway of a nearby house.
A man was seen exiting the driver's seat before running inside the home.
The man was arrested and charged with failing to stop, driving without due car, driving suspended and failing to truly answer.
His car was impounded and he was bailed to appear in the Port Pirie Magistrates Court on April 15.
