Cohen Amato, 11, had the honour of tossing the coin at the Adelaide United versus Brisbane Roar A-League game at Coopers Stadium. He was nominated by IGA Port Broughton, previous employer of his late father and Savoy legend Joseph Amato. IGA are a major sponsor of United. Cohen said it was a very special moment and a memory he will treasure for a very long time.

The Winnen family, who own IGA Port Broughton, were delighted when Cohen was selected. Fifteen of Cohen’s family and close friends were in the 7000 strong crowd.

What a game it was! Adelaide United were 3-1 down and with only 10 players came back to win the match 4-3 with the winning goal being scored in the final 30 seconds.
