Port Pirie continues its hold on top spot in Division 1 in the North Western Bowling Association’s Saturday competition after defeating Booleroo Centre in spectacular fashion by 55 shots.

Crystal Brook and BHAS Blue hold second and third spots, respectively, also managing sizeable wins against their opponents.

Crystal Brook defeated Port Germein while BHAS Blue proved too strong for BHAS Red. 

Jamestown defeated Melrose in a tighter affair while Laura’s dynamic foursome – Jake Prior, Garry Smith, Todd Brand and Geoff Brand – defeated Gladstone by 44 shots, 115 to 71. 

Orroroo maintains a strong hold on Division 2 as well as leading the way in Division 3. 

Georgetown is in number one position in Division 4 but suffered a 24 shot loss at the weekend to Melrose with the team edging closer to claiming top spot.
