Ros Everett, Judy Underwood and Marie Williams represented BHAS Bowling Club in the North Western Bowling Association’s Ladies Triple Championship.
The Championship was played at the BHAS club on the newly named Doug Ahola Green on Tuesday, November 27.
This is the second North Western Bowling Association championship the club has won being successful a few weeks ago in the Ladies Fours event.
In the first game they won a thriller on the last end against Jamestown.
Down by three shots the skipper Judy Underwood came to the party with a brilliant shot picking up the kitty and taking it back for the team to claim six shots and win the game by three shots.
The second game was also a close encounter against the strong Crystal Brook side led by skipper Agnus Dhu.
The BHAS team finishing in front by one shot.
The third game was against Gladstone winning sixteen shots to seven and then into the final against Booleroo winning this game by a large margin twenty to one.
The games were played in constant changing weather conditions and for the final game it poured from start to finish and all girls must be given credit for maintaining their concentration in such adverse conditions.
Congratulations to the BHAS Bowling Club for a wonderful afternoon tea and presentation at the end of the day.
