Corey Wingard, Minister for Police, Correctional Services, Emergency Services, Road Safety, Recreation and Sport and Racing, visited Port Pirie on a regional tour of the state’s north.
During his Port Pirie visit, Mr Wingard was joined by Member for Frome Geoff Brock.
He was toured around the Road Safety Centre and enjoyed a brisk ride around the facility with Mr Brock.
Later, Mr Wingard toured the Memorial Oval Sports Precinct and met with Port Pirie Regional Council Mayor Leon Stephens.
“Road safety is a really important issue. Teaching that to children is important,” he said while visiting the Road Safety Centre.
He said these types of facilities were really important for local communities.
