Lions Club of Port Pirie raising money for wheelchair swing

The Lions Club of Port Pirie is starting its quest to raise money for a wheelchair swing for the Mid North Education Centre.

The club is holding one of its bingo nights at the Port Pirie Sporting and Community Club on Broadway Road.

Pop Tuesday, August 28, on your calendar and come along to help local Lions raise much-needed funds for this worthwhile project.

Admission costs $5 [in addition to buying your bingo books] and includes a ticket for the door prize as well as supper. Eyes down at 7.30pm.

The wheelchair swing is the latest Lions fundraiser supporting the Port Pirie community after the club previously donated a lifter to St Joseph’s House and presented a portable infant heart monitor to the Port Pirie Hospital.
