A bad week for the BHAS Bowling Club, with only two wins in the five games played, but it was good to see the Division 1 BHAS Blue side back in form, defeating Gladstone by 28 shots at home.
Pat Vella enjoyed a comfortable win over T Coe, 41 to 18.
Glenn Jackson managed to defeat S Harding , in front all afternoon, by three shots, 22 to 19.
Barry Magor played K Tobin and came good after the break to give that rink their first win for the season, 25 to 14.
Trevor Gill held the upper hand against G Smith by winning the second half 30 to 19.
Division 1 BHAS Red, after their good win last week could not repeat the performance and were beaten by Melrose by 22 shots.
Gordon Hiskens defeated J Taylor by the smallest margin, one shot, 22 to 21.
Marty Donald went one better by defeating B Jones by two shots, 27 to 25.
Gene Todd lost to A Bishop 24 to 34, with a great display of lead bowling by E Davis of Melrose.
Brian Key, against L Fuller, only won four shots after the break, losing 18 to 33.
Division 2 BHAS travelled to Georgetown for their game, expecting a win, but this did not eventuate, with a losing score of 74 to 117, down 38 shots.
F Amato won against J Cock 24 to 20.
S Saler lost by 10 shots against M Page, 20 to 30, after having a good lead at the break.
F Searle in his first game in Division 2, suffered a loss against A Cock, 18 to 35.
P McMahon lost to R Phillips 17 to 32.
Division 3 saw BHAS playing Port Pirie at the BHAS greens, with Port Pirie only fielding three players on one rink, allowing BHAS to win by 41 shots, 85 to 44.
P Stevens, Joylene Todd, Ray Holthouse and Rose Hearn won their rink comfortably by 16 shots, 30 to 14.
John Turci, Nancy Warne, Joe Van Der Lee and Maurie Mezzino defeated G Laube 28 to 14 after a strong finish.
D Watson, J Mezzini, J Hallion and J Osborne defeated W Sandercock 27 to 16.
Division 4 BHAS played Georgetown, winning by 19 shots, 50 to 31.
Doug McMahon, Carol Partridge, Doug Watson and Rhonda Coller won against J Smallacombe, 29 to 15.
Wendy Bennett, John Casey, Doug Macdonald, and Graham Fitzgerald defeated D Smallacombe, 21 to 16.
