Some of Port Pirie’s greatest musos have the opportunity to reunite and share memories of days gone by.
A reunion is being organised for local musicians from the 1960s to the 1980s.
The city has been able to showcase a lot of its musical talent at various venues, with acts like the Leon Rodda Band, Globrites, The Arrangement, FBI and many others proving popular amongst locals.
The event, the brainchild of Rosa-Lee Pisani, is being held at the Risdon Hotel on Sunday, October 22 at 2pm.
While there won’t be any performances on the day – juggling up to 30 different bands could be a challenge – Mrs Pisani said the reunion would be a great chance for people to catch up and reminisce on old times.
She also encouraged people to bring along photographs on the day.
“We all say 'we must catch up someday' so I thought I'd get the ball rolling and organise this opportunity to 'catch up',” she said.
There is no cost to attend the event but drinks will be available to purchase at the bar.
