Port Pirie’s ANZ branch reopened on Wednesday after a temporary closure due to an electrical fault in the Ellen Street building.
ANZ’s general manager retail of banking for South Australia, Michael Wake, said they were pleased to welcome back our customers to the Port Pirie branch after it was temporarily closed to assess and repair damage caused by an electrical fault.
“The safety of our staff and customers was our number one priority throughout this closure,” he said.
“We consulted the relevant authorities to ensure all health and safety standards were appropriately met before we re-opened the branch.”
“I’d like to apologise to our customers for the inconvenience this closure caused.”
The Port Pirie branch has returned to its normal trading hours of 9:30am to 4:00pm Monday to Thursday and 9.30 to 5.00pm on Friday.
