Crystal Brook eatery Jezzabelle's Cafe and Take-away was home to A-list clientele as Hollywood star Russell Crowe enjoyed a bite to eat at the Bowman Street business on Monday night.
The cafe's owner, Gerry Schuller, told Fairfax Media Russell was a "true gentleman".
When he visited the popular local eatery, another customer was walking out with pizzas and when his garlic bread slipped off the box, Russell was the first to offer assistance.
"When we asked to take a photo, he was very obliging," Gerry said.
Her daughter Kim was lucky enough to cook Russell's burger, and she said the actor also enjoyed a coffee and some delicious sweets at her local business.
Speaking just an hour after meeting the celebrity, she said had burnt two pizzas and a finger after meeting Russell.
"We haven't come down to earth yet," she said.
When Russell came into her shop Gerry was in the kitchen preparing meals for fire crews fighting the Bangor fire.
"I was making pizzas and I heard this deep voice...I thought that was Russell Crowe," she said.
"He came and thanked us for his beautiful burger."
Just last week Russell was spotted in the Mid North town of Burra shooting his latest film.
