Concerns over mouse numbers in Victoria and the upcoming harvest have been raised at a web forum.

The forum, organised by the federal government's Grain Research and Development Corporation, was broadcast live over the internet.

You can view the discussion by clicking play on the video below.

On-screen participants from left to right: Andrew Polkinghorne (Grain Producers Australia), Alan Norden (Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority), Jon Lamb (Moderator), Dr Simon Humphrys (Invasive Animals Cooperative Research Centre) and Rohan Rainbow (Grains Research and Development Corporation).

Jon Lamb is a journalist with experience in horticulture and journalism.

It was filmed from the Roseworthy Agricultural College in South Australia on September 28.
