Brook duo wins bowls hat trick

19 Jan, 2012 12:13 PM
Crystal Brook bowlers Wilma Hendry and Agnes Dhu have completed a bowls’ hat trick - winning the North Western Bowls Association Pairs for the third consecutive year.

The championship was played in very damp conditions at Wirrabara.

Runners-up by a narrow margin were Joan Stott and Shas Saler, of Gladstone.

Dhu and Hendry have also been selected to play in the round robin competition in Adelaide in February, along with Betsy Wilson.

Association fours will be played at Wirrabara on January 24.

Crystal Brook’s team is Pauline McLeod, Jean McLeod, Betsy Wilson, and Wilma Hendry.
