Leah Harvey and Ryan Hryhorec both drove two winners at Port Pirie Harness Racing Club’s meeting on Friday night.
Harvey also placed second in two events, while Hryhorec picked up three third placings.
Local club members also fared well in the training stakes with Harvey and Stephen Papps both winning two races.
Ashleigh Dunkley, Lyndon Hall and Paul Fidge each trained one winner from the eight-race card, and Hall picked up the quinella in race four.
Harvey trained and drove race one winner Unique Sound with the four-year-old bay gelding winning the Henry Osborne Fodder Store Pace .
It finished in front of the Tyson Link-trained Jet Quick (driver Darren Billinger), which was the pre-race favourite.
Third place went to Nulla Star (driver Ryan Hryhorec) and fourth place to Safe Ridge (driver Aaron Bain).
Favourite SandyIsMy Name won race two, the Cool + Pace, for Port Pirie owner, trainer and driver Paul Fidge.
The eight-year-old bay gelding won from Faye Worrell-trained-Ronnie Rude (driver Harvey); Legins Legend (driver Hryhorec) and Lyndon Hall-trained Cullyndal (driver Dale Afford).
Tirano Bliss provided Hryhorec with his first winning drive for the night in race three – the final of the Bet McArthur Pace.
The four-year-old gelding was trained by Stephen Papps and was equal favourite with fourth-placed Pink Artiste.
Second was Candice Robinson’s Triple Dream Power, with Amberlu Me Me (driver Darren Billinger) in third.
Pirie trainer Lyndon Hall had four of the 11 runners in the final of the Hopkins Saddlery Whyalla Pace and picked up the quinella, with Town of Dreams (driver Scott Ewen), followed by Global Gift (driver Harvey).
Third went to Waylon Hornhardt-trained Wallispa (driver Aaron Bain) and fourth to UpHill Battle (driver Troy Sims).
Hall’s other runners, Salsa Blue and his personal pre-race tip Sassy Spirit ran fifth and ninth respectively, while the race favourite ZaBreeze ran sixth for trainer Tyson Linke.
The Coca-Cola New Year Cup was won by favourite Gee Whiz Fizz, for trainer Shane Young (driver Gina Bell); with second Spirit of Armbro (driver Matthew Smith); third BadBoy Nitro (driver Ken Rogers) and fourth Same Old Macray (driver Anthony Robinson).
Dunkley-trained Bob Keain’s So It Goes (driver Glen Richardson) which won the Lyn and Bronwyn Darrell Pace.
The four-year-old bay gelding was followed home by favourite Perfect Bliss (driver Billenger); Aussie Falcon (driver Aaron Bain) and StashedByTheRiver (driver Harvey).
Harvey owned, trained and drove Talc Town which won the Joan Duffield and Upstairs Patrons’ Pace.
Likewise, Mick Darling was the part-owner, as well as the trainer and driver of second-placed Bee Jay’s Wisdom, while Integra Prince (driver Hryhorec) was third and favourite Jaccka Londondry ran fourth for Michael Dennis.
Stephen Papps trained favourite Big Henry (driver Hryhorec) which won the final race on the card, the Coca-Cola Amatil Pace over 1609 metres.
Second was Miss Annalyse (driver Smith); third KatieSeelster (driver Bradley Sims) and fourth HowdHeGetHere (driver Dale Afford).
