Sisters three are we.
Tammy Pine has made a decision to leave the Blue Wren club to play with her two younger sisters in the Chequers A1 reserve side.
Alana and Sam Pine have played for Chequers since leaving the Solomontown Primary School team and this season Sam, 12, has been promoted from A3.
It is a mammoth leap in grades for a 12 year old however Sam has already shown she has the skills and talent to play the standard required in this grade.
Last season she was selected to play in the SA State Primary Schoolgirls team to play in the National Championships.
Both Tammy, 20, and Alana, 16, played in the A1 reserve division last season and will no doubt give great encouragement and support to their sibling in her first season in that grade.
It will be much easier for the girl’s father Derick Pine, who is their greatest fan because he can now watch the trio in one match without going between different games.
“It is going to be fun playing together and I get excited when my sisters do something good,” said Tammy.
Alana thinks there may be a bit of competition between the three sisters but said at the same time they will stick up for each other.
Tammy plays at goalkeeper and the two younger sisters play in the centre area.
“We do look for each other to pass to,” said Sam.
In previous years Lisa Brock and sisters Emily and Abby Zubrinich have played in the same team for the Central club.
