Props take on Risdon at Memorial Oval on Saturday afternoon to kick off the new year.
These two sides have only played each other once this year with Risdon coming out on top.
Both sides will be keen for the win to set up the top two finish and get the double chance.
Props’ batting has been in good form with all batsman contributing at different stages.
Andrew Fuchs returned to form with a couple of gutsy innings in the last two matches before the break.
Randall Wyatt still needs to capitalise on starts a bit more.
Simon Fuchs, Laz Lovacevic, Leigh Warwick and Tate Bradley make up a handy top six.
Jono Makai and Reece Fowler then provide the muscle with big hitting further down a strong line-up.
Risdon has captain Zach Hutchinson at the top, while Dan Pine has made some scores, along with Jeff Twigden, Rob Anderson and Nathan Marwick.
Risdon also has its own muscle in Brad Pine, who hits a ball very sweetly, making a solid top to middle order.
The bowling side for Props has not been up to its usual standard in its last two matches.
The medium pace trio of Jono Makai, Reece Fowler and Kane Wallace has been good in the first half of the year.
Leigh Warwick provides the swing with his bowling and Simon Fuchs, Tate Bradley and Randall Wyatt provide leg and off spin - all in all a diverse bowling attack.
Risdon is a bit more one dimensional in its bowling line-up, with Jarrad Adams, Brad Pine, Rob Anderson, Cameron Pine all bowling medium pace.
Jeff Twigen provides some swing and cut off the pitch.
However, it is still a very capable bowling attack with plenty of options for Hutchinson to pick from.
This is a very important match and I think it will be a very close one with Props just getting over the line.
