Proprietary easily accounted for Solomontown at Memorial Oval on Saturday afternoon.
Solomontown won the toss and elected to bat Sean Seidel and Damien Hardaker opening the batting.
Hardaker (7) was the first to go followed quickly by Seidel (10).
When Nick Wauchope went for a duck Sollies was in a bit of trouble at 3/ 20.
James Zubrinich and Darian Hayes then put together a 33 run stand and looked comfortable.
That was until Zubrinich (11) top edged a ball to be caught.
Ash Johnson (14) stayed with Hayes for a little while to get the total to 79, before he was stumped from the bowling of Simon Fuchs.
At 5/79 Sollies still had some work to do.
Solomontown lost its final five wickets for just 11 runs.
That included seeing Sollies’ top scorer Darian Hayes (34) to see Sollies all bowled out for 90.
Randall Wyatt took 3/11, Reece Fowler finished with 3/12 and Simon Fuchs also grabbed 3/17.
It was a good bowling performance by the Prop side.
Sollies was going to need to bowl tightly to make a game of it but unfortunately the young attack could not hit a consistent line.
The length was taken full advantage of by Props openers Andrew Fuchs and Randall Wyatt to hit boundaries regularly.
Props passed the score in just the 12th over to finish 0/91 - Fuchs (42*) and Wyatt (48*).
It was a very convincing win to the Proprietary team which like Wandearah looks set to claim a top two finish to get the double chance in the finals.
