Students face final exams

05 Nov, 2009 10:34 AM
Local high school students will be knuckling down for the next three weeks as they sit their final Year 12 exams.

Students from St Mark’s, John Pirie and the Mid North Christian College are among about 13,000

sitting at least one SACE exam between now and November 20.

St Mark’s students Rebecca Hausler, Rebecca Hill and Kate Hajisavva sat their first exam, English studies on Monday.

“The exam was all right. It could have been a lot worse,” Rebecca Hausler, 17, said. The girls all agreed the exams are a stressful time.

“It is good to have one out of the way already and I am glad we started with this exam and not maths,” Rebecca said. She has three more exams to go, including maths, chemistry and

biology which will be sat at the school.

Other exams this week include physics, physical education and maths studies.

Good luck, Year 12s.
