Emily 'hums' her birthday song

26 Aug, 2010 02:40 PM
The future “stretched” out in front of Emily Noonan on her 13th birthday.

Emily and 10 friends travelled to Adelaide on Sunday in a mini- bus to celebrate her party.

The girls were treated to afternoon tea at Just Tickled Pink on Unley Road followed by a surprise – a Pink Stretch Hummer that drove the girls around Adelaide and through jetty road at Glenelg, entertaining the big crowds at the foreshore.

The girls then returned to Port Pirie later that afternoon on their mini-bus. The Hummer is quite a sight around Adelaide.

It is based on the United States military vehicle, the Humvee, which is used by soldiers in the Middle East.

Pictured at the beach at Glenelg with the limousine are Emily, third from right, and Kim Burnell, left, Casey Burnell, Georgia Afford, Daniella Sciangalepore, Esther Mieglich, Sarah Horsnell, Lauren Harslett, Erini Seindanis and Georgia Rose Scarman.
