The Keith Michell Theatre came alive when dance students were able to strut their stuff as part of the Hip-Hop Bounce Dance Spectacular.
Ninety students from the Hip-Hop Bounce School performed at the concert in what their teacher Natasha English described as "a huge success".
"There was a great sense of achievement in putting together a show in such a limited amount of time," she said.
More than 300 people attended the event and were treated to a fantastic performance.
"Every student got up on stage and really kicked on," she said.
"Many parents commented on the freedom of expression afforded to the kids."
The school was started in Port Pirie in August this year.
It now has more than 100 people enrolled, ranging from young children to adults.
While the school mainly focuses on hip-hop dancing, it will expand the curriculum next year to teach ballet, jazz and contemporary styles.
Most students are locals with others coming from places as far away as Clare and Whyalla.
The dance spectacular is aimed to be an yearly event.
The school also plans to stage smaller shows in between the yearly events.
