In her last public appearance before her wedding US reality TV star Kim Kardashian and her two sisters have launched their own fashion line at a lavish party in Los Angeles.
The sisters Kim, Khloe and Kourtney teamed up with Australian designer Bruno Schiavi to produce the Kardashian Kollection.
The range, which comprises ready-to-wear clothing and accessories, attracted 700 media and guests to its official launch.
Kim Karashaian said, "We just knew Bruno was the right man and his whole team is amazing. He gets us. We're incredibly hands on. Kourtney, Khloe and I are at every design meeting – we want to touch and feel the fabrics."
Schiavi who has previously collaborated with celebrities like Janet Jackson, Priscilla Presley and Delta Goodrem said, "It's been a massive undertaking.
We've worked 7 days a week for 12 months. I'm proud to be working with the [Kardashian] girls, they know their stuff and they love fashion."
The reasonably priced items, starting from just $20, will be available in 400 Sears stores across America, while the handbag range will be available in Australia through bagsac.com.au.
"The girls wanted their collection to be fashionable but affordable," Schiavi said. It's believed the full range could be available in Australia by the end of the year.
Kim's lavish wedding will be held at a secret location in California on Saturday (LA time) and is rumoured to cost nearly $20 million. "I'm not nervous I'm excited," says Kim. When questioned how she could fit in the launch just days before her wedding she says, "I'm a workaholic. I'd design during the day and do wedding seating plans at night."
